This shampoo WAS my favorite. It seems they changed the formula (and bottle) and now I hate it. The fragrance is overwhelming and the ingredients now include something called Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate. That sure sounds a lot like Sodium Lauryl Sulfate to me. Jason's claims to be SLS free, I don't buy it now.

I am a natural blonde and have kept my hair this way for most of my life. I decided to change things up and dyed my hair a pretty auburn color a couple months ago. While i Love the color, two things were turning me off. The red faded out quickly leaving my hair brown, and where my hair was growing out...my blonde roots were making it appear that I had a receding hairline. I was having to do a root touch up every two weeks. Since I started using this shampoo and conditioner, not only is my red not fading as quickly, but the pigment in the shampoo is providing a nice transition in my blonde roots.

I have been using Nature's Gate Shampoos and Conditioners for many years. In particular, I have used Henna Shampoo, Henna Conditioner, Jojaba Shampoo, and Tea Tree Conditioner. I have found all of them to perform very well. I like the Henna products very much. They add a reddish tint to my brown hair. However, I alternate with the other products for variety, and to keep the red tint in control.

I hate using hairsprays and anything unnatural in my hair. Aubrey Organics is a company that I can trust to not put anything harmful in their products.
If I need some extra hold or smoothing, I mix a small amount of this with some jojoba or coconut oil in the palm of my hand, and smooth it onto my damp hair. It does a fantastic job of holding without looking or feeling stiff. Don't use too much or it will flake.

The bottle is very small for the price. I did use it once and it is A thick formula, smells ok, but i would not buy it again!

I have just got this shampoo from one online provider and the only thing I have to say about this product is how incredible it is, first of all it lathers more than the regular chemicals shampoos (with a little amount only), another point is the smell, since the first time you use it you can feel the essence of a natural product without artificial fragrances and the last but not the least I was really amazed because I never used a shampoo (for oily hair like mine) that did not strip (natural oils of the hair) without making a deep cleansing, this is very nice, well, when you use it you will know what I am talking about...

I have been using this product since I received it on April 20th. I still have dandruff so I have to use a dandruff shampoo with this. I am still loosing hair and have not seen any new hair growth.

Great product. Reminds me of Dr. Bronner's old Peppermint soap that I used to use when back-packing. Felt like your scalp was on fire..., in a good way (I miss the commentary on those old bottles). I want people to realize 2 things :) -- First, sadly, if your hair is already reeeeaally damaged, no product will fix it. You're better off starting over with brand new healthy strands. This leads me to my second point, the average conditioner is loaded with synthtic oils and silicones that coat your hair shaft, making it appear magically softer, giving it more "slip" and a false sense of moisture retention. It's like someone with really bad skin layering on MAC makeup everyday rather than addressing their skin issues.... Then when you wash it all off, its back to damage city again. The gunk in conditioners that sticks to your hair does more harm than good in the long run! Please, please do your research if you are depending on a hair product *alone* to give you manageable hair...
Anywho, I love Aubrey's conditioners. This one is great!! I have 4a/b hair with some odd 3c in the back and I have found that Aubrey coconut fatty based conditioners are super duper moisturizing. I use this one on dry hair. I slather it on and let it sit for about 20 minutes, then I rinse it out and wash or co-wash in the shower. It makes my hair sooooo soft and tangle free. I also use the GBP conditioner in the same manner, which I love even more.

Enriched with Henna,Almond & Lemon
I have been using Amla shampoo now for a little over a year! This is the best brand of Amla shampoo because it is reliable and the label checks out. (I research the companies and the ingredients thoroughly on the products I use.) The shampoo is so high quality that much isn't needed. I have shoulder length (when curly) and back length (when straightened) hair. I only need to use a guarter size amount for my hair to be nice and clean. Amla shampoo cleanses without stripping the hair of its natural oils, which has heloed my growth and breakage greatly! I highly recommend!!!
